Welcome to the U.S. Imagine Cup 2013!

Do you dream of building your own start-up? Want to be the next Bill Gates or Mark Zuckerberg? The U.S. Imagine Cup can help you take the first step and realize your dream!

This year we are launching the Imagine Cup Student Accelerator - a program that will equip and enable you to build a great app on our platforms for the 2013 Imagine Cup Competitions: Innovation, Games, and World Citizenship.

During a 2 month period you and your team will spend time with mentors, participate in workshops and get the technical guidance you need to help realize a prototype and test an idea. 50 teams will be announced on January 21st, 2013 for admission to this awesome program opportunity!

15 teams will be invited to participate in an in-person “Start-Up Bootcamp” during March of 2013. This school will take place in Silicon Valley at Microsoft’s expense including travel, food, and hotel.

3 Top Accelerator teams will also be invited to a Demo Day on May 13, 2013 in Silicon Valley.  Here you will share your Accelerator experience, demo your app and pitch to investors, PR, and tech industry professionals.

If you and your team do not get accepted into the Accelerator program, you can still enter the US Imagine Cup. Participation in both competitions is completely optional (i.e., you can enter one and not the other) and participation in Accelerator will not have any bearing on your ability to advance in other Imagine Cup competitions.

You can submit your entry for the Imagine Cup Student Accelerator program by completing the Student Accelerator submission form by January 6, 2013 at 11:59 PM PT. Please review the U.S. Imagine Cup Student Accelerator Contest Official Rules
